Responding to the needs expressed in a pre-Summit survey, we will explore successful new methods from other Canadian and US presenting organizations. Participants will then create a viable workplan to increase audience/community engagement, earned/contributed revenues and envision alternate futures.
These workshops will be of great interest for those who manage any type of venue including: cultural centres, museums, galleries, rec centres or anyone who is looking for ideas on non-traditional spaces for arts presentations. Pre-registration required.
These back-to-back workshops are designed to lead participants through a process of gaining an understanding of what cultural tourism is and identify how it can support or challenge achieving goals that are mutually beneficial for the cultural sector and its audiences, residents and visitors.
